UpDog ("the App") is a desktop posture guardian and break reminder tool. We take your privacy seriously. The App is designed with a core principle: all data is processed locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, or store any personal information.

Camera Usage

The App optionally uses your device camera for:

• Detecting whether you are at your computer (face detection)
• Monitoring your sitting posture (pose detection)

Important

• Camera footage is processed in real-time on your device only. It is never recorded, saved, or uploaded to any server.
• Detection is performed locally using Google MediaPipe open-source models, with no network connection required.
• You can disable camera features at any time from the system tray menu. The App will switch to timer-only mode.

Data Collection

The App does not collect any data, including but not limited to:

• No personal identification information
• No usage behavior data
• No device information
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
• No network communication of any kind

Data Storage

The App does not store any user data on your device. All settings (such as reminder intervals and language preferences) are kept in memory only and cleared when the App is closed.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party online services. Face detection and pose detection use the Google MediaPipe open-source library, running entirely on your device.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not collect personal information from users of any age.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, users will be notified through App updates.
